The Financial Summary contents are intended as a means to provide transparency and accountability to our citizens regarding the municipal budget and finances. Within this area you will find various kinds of summarized and detailed information for multiple years including both tabular and graphical representations of the data. The MI Community Financial Dashboard is provided by the Michigan Department of Treasury using data the Township submits via the Annual Local Unit Fiscal Report (F65).
The Performance Dashboard includes financial and operating measures important to the government and its our citizens. This data includes a current and prior year overview comparison as well as charts and graphs that allow you to view trends over multiple years. Areas of focus include Fiscal Stability, Economic Strength, Public Safety, and Quality of Life.
State law requires each local unit to provide a detailed listing of the annual payment amounts for each separate debt obligation until maturity or repayment is complete. Within this area you will find separate repayment schedules for all of the Township’s outstanding debt including the name of the debt, the issuance amount, issuance date, type of debt instrument, and a listing of all revenues pledged to finance the debt.
The projected budget report includes budgeted revenues and expenditures as well as an explanation of the assumptions supporting those projections for all of the Township’s funds. This report covers a two year period; the Township’s current fiscal year and a projection for the immediately following fiscal year.
